Our Strategy
P.G.E.S is our strategy for making disciples based on the example of Jesus as found in the gospels.
“One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them” … “ –that they might be with him and that he might send them out” (Luke 6:12 -13, Mark 3:14)

Prayer
Forming a passionate and vibrant spiritual life in every member in such things as an active daily devotional life, practicing the spiritual disciplines and submitting to God’s word and the leading of the Spirit. We achieve this by promoting accountability in small groups; regular prayer meetings; personal growth plans and leadership training that includes the spiritual disciplines.
Gather
We call people to follow Jesus and to participate in ministry and mission. We achieve this by training every member I n evangelism and urging them to reach out. Small groups are coached for active mission and ministry leaders are trained to gather people for their ministry teams. We also regularly help people to identify their spiritual gifts and promote opportunities to serve.
Equip
To equip is to empower and enable people to be fruitful and effective disciple makers.
We do this by urging people to join small groups in which they are built up in their faith. Leaders are urged to have co-leaders they mentor. We budget for training and require every ministry to train its team. We train potential leaders and coach every ministry leader. We also have other courses designed to help Christians grow in the Christian life.
Send
Jesus’ last command was the Great Commission, and it is our first priority. Sending is releasing people for active ministry. Everything leads to active service. We send when we help people plan, publicly commission and support them, regularly hold them accountable and resource them for their endeavors.
